Holidays in the Val di Tires valley
TiresThe beautiful Val di Tires valley (Tierser Tal) that reaches up to the imposing Rosengarten group is one of the tranquil valleys of the Dolomites. The small holiday village Tires (Tiers) lies at 1.028 m above sea level and situated on a sunny terrace with a breathtaking view on the peaks and ridges: the Torri del Vajolet, the Croda di Re Laurino and the Cima Catinaccio. The little village San Cipriano is even closer to the Dolomite scenery, the small church San Cipriano is always photographed with the magnificent Rosengarten in the background. From here you can also reach the secluded Valle di Ciamin valley, a hiking trail takes you into the heart of the Dolomites. At the beginning of the valley we find the Nature Park House Sciliar, informing hikers on the flora and fauna in the nature park Sciliar. Starting from San Cipriano and leading you through vast coniferous forests, the Rosengarten street takes you up to the Passo Nigra pass (1.688 m), below the Passo di Costalunga pass it then leads into the Dolomite street. This route is also followed by the free ski bus that goes to the Ski Area Carezza. |
