From Bolzano to Ora on the highway 12, where you take the road of the Dolomites to the junction for Egna, just before entering the town of Montagna, you park near the old train station .

This route allows you to enjoy a magnificent view of the Val d'Adige valley, from Bolzano to the chasm of Salorno. The slope is not pronounced but still. Because of a low-lit gallery you should bring a flashlight.

Description

From the old station of Montagna , towards the south, we reach the road that comes from Pinzano. Crossing this road, take the soil path built on the old railroad track. Continue in moderate slope among lush vineyards that overhang the fraction of Pinzano. A bold semicircular bridge forms a wide curve and allows you to go back towards the village Montagna. The route crosses the road that leads to the hamlet of Gleno and leads into the cool woods of Mount Cislon. Thanks to some tunnels and bridges, we pass the steepest parts of the mountain. We go around Castel Enna and emerge from the woods on the open terrace of Doladizza . The walk carries on until it reaches the main road of the Dolomites. Follow the same itinerary to get back to the car park.
