kunst Merano arte: modern and contemporary art gallery

Since october 2001, kunst Merano arte has use of a unique structure: a multi storey building in the old town of Merano. The historical Laubenhaus, owned by the Südtiroler Sparkasse was thoroughly renovated and adapted to house an art gallery.
On three floors, 500 square meters of exhibition space now make up unique space available for kunst Merano's exhibitions. The in-house studio makes it possible to house "artists in residence" and the caffè Kunsthaus has become a popular meeting spot in Merano.
The historical Sparkassen Hall is used for concerts, lectures and presentations and can be rented for external events. With about 10,000 annual visitors.
The programme for kunst Merano arte is drawn up by the directing board of kunst Merano and Valerio Dehó, Curator and Artistic Director of Kunst Merano.
