Just before the pass, turn left onto the road that leads to Pass Nigra. You park near the pass or near the hotel Pass Nigra. The walk takes place entirely on forest tracks, alternating between flat, ascending and descending parts. It goes through magnificent fir forests and vast open spaces, from where you have excellent view over the Rosengarten and Latemar peaks.
